Cathy and Dan are married!

We had loads of fun shooting this wedding.  Our day started at the house of Cathy's parents where she was getting ready.  The house was a buzz as the bride, six bride’s maids, four flower girls, Cathy's parents, and a host of others involved in the preparation, frantically readied themselves for the big day.  After capturing candid shots of the prep work, we moved outside to capture several formal images of Cathy grouped together with the others.

Our time with the Cathy was finished quickly as the limo arrived to pick her up.  We quickly drove about a mile over to where Dan and his groomsman were getting ready.  Taking a few quick group pics of them, we were again on the road to the wedding location at Kurtz‘s Beach…arriving at about the same time as the bride’s limo.

Although it was threatening rain most of the day, the bulk of the rain held off until the ceremony was over.   Throughout the ceremony a slight mist was falling…or maybe it was just tearing eyes over the beautiful ceremony.  Kanda Studios managed to get some recognition near the end of the ceremony.  Before the pastor announced to Dan, “you may kiss the bride,” he reminded them that the photographers wanted them to hold the kiss for the pictures.  Happy to oblige, Cathy and Dan locked into a long kiss, giving us plenty of time to get the shot.

We really enjoyed being a part of this wedding day, and we wish the best for Cathy and Don as they start a new life together. Enjoy a small sample of the many photos taken that day.

Congratulations guys!
