Ryan & Claire

Last Saturday we spent the morning shooting an engagement session for Ryan & Claire. During the early part of the morning we started out at Morgans Run & a local pond. The weather was perfect and we couldn't ask for better lighting.

In almost every photo we took you can truly see the love that this couple has for each other and it made for some wonderful shots. They were completely comfortable trying any crazy idea we came up with along the way.

To finish off the session, with Ryan in his Dress Blues & Claire in her matching dress, we headed to Old Town Sykesville. At one point we were shooting on the railroad tracks, amongst a restaurant full of on lookers, when around the corner we hear a train whistle. I'm sure it was pretty amusing to them as it did take a second for us all to realize that we were still on the tracks and close to being run over.

When Ryan returns from his overseas tour they plan to get married.

To Ryan and Claire, we would like to thank you for being such great models. We had a great time with you and hope to work with you again soon! Claire, you are truly going to make a beautiful bride.

  2. Our family has known Claire for many years and Ryan for just a few and these pictures capture their personalities perfectly. Their expressions are natural and their excitement/ anticipation about their upcoming wedding day is truly genuinely portrayed in these images. They are very well done. I especially like the close up, angled shot posed under the eaves of the Sykesville Station building. Wonderful compositions, beautiful portaits!
